To mark its sixtieth anniversary, Vilalara Grand Hotel Algarve entrusted Quintana Partners with the renovation of its interiors, restaurant and spa. The intervention builds on the hotel’s existing identity, reinterpreting it through a contemporary lens while preserving its connection to the architecture and landscape of southern Portugal.
Terracotta, natural fibres, mineral tones and a carefully curated selection of handcrafted and vintage pieces create a serene, tactile atmosphere. Soft curves and vaulted ceilings draw inspiration from the coastal caves and the region’s Moorish heritage, while bespoke furniture and artisanal lighting introduce a new layer of sophistication.
The result is a renovation that respects Vilalara’s memory while bringing its language naturally into the present.
